LadyLyke Entertainment was established in 2016 by Avana Thomas. With experience in performance and songwriting, Avana became aware of a void within the music industry, especially the Hip Hop genre. It was normal for women to portray promiscuity within their image to the masses. Therefore, there were only few that displayed a classier perception of their artistry. Avana Thomas wanted to change that.

With the idea of promoting more positive images of women in music, Avana Thomas signed her first artist, Reality. Reality is a performing artist with a genre of her own; she likes to refer to as Soul Hop. Soul Hop is a cross between Hip Hop, Soul and Rock music. Avana Thomas believes Reality will be the perfect artist to catapult LadyLyke Entertainment into the limelight.

Women with various titles within the music industry will be involved at LadyLyke Entertainment. Performing artists, writers, talent scouts, managers, producers, etc. will create the graceful environment needed at LadyLyke Entertainment. Although, all employees and talent will not only be female, the LadyLyke brand will adhere to the female consumer and fit the women’s wants and needs.

LadyLyke Entertainment will provide a fresh perspective on women in entertainment. “Our goal is to not stop at music, but to encourage women in all aspects of the entertainment industry to remember to respect themselves while entertaining the youth. We want to give our young girls something to look up while keeping their dignity,” says Avana Thomas.

There are many artists in the sights of Avana Thomas, and she only plans to expand her artist roster with time.
